“Can this unit replace current Windstream moden/ router as is? If not a recommendation”

• Replace? No. This does NOT have a modem built in. It requires a modem to be plugged into it for internet access. It works for networking with out internet, as well, but for internet access, you need an isp and a modem to plug into this router.

• Hi! The Archer AX3000 Pro is a router-only device, so it can't be used to replace a modem. If your Internet provider requires the presence of a modem, a modem will need to be present within the network, then the router can be connected to the modem via Ethernet cable.
