Hi Harry, That depends on your service plan. If you only have FiOS Internet, you should be able to connect the router directly to your FiOS ONT device using an Ethernet cable. However, if your FiOS plan includes other services, such as TV, you might need to keep their gateway. We recommend that you contact your ISP directly to confirm whether your specific service plan allows replacing their router with your own.
