• As far as I can tell it has not slowed down my network. And you can run two. It does boost yourWi-Fi ,now I have a strong signal in the front of my house even in the garage. And things do load faster on my phone and iPad.

• Hi! Yes, you can use two extenders with your existing Wi-Fi gateway. As long as each extender is connected to the router during setup, and are not daisy-chained, there shouldn't be a significant impact on your network.
