• That will depend on the existing Wi-Fi coverage provided by your router, since the extender must be placed in a location where your router's signal is sufficiently strong/stable, yet far enough from the router to effectively extend its range. Obstructions, such as walls, will always play a role in Wi-Fi coverage within an area.
