TP-Link Range Extenders are typically universally compatible with any network router that supports the same bands as the range extender. The one exception is with Mesh systems. Typically, mesh systems are only compatible with mesh units of the same brand. Orbi works with Orbi; Deco works with Deco, etc. While a range extender can work with a mesh system, it is not part of the mesh network. It would instead create a separate network. One option is to see if your Orbi system supports the EasyMesh protocol. If it does, you can look for any range extender that supports EasyMesh. As long as you use it in EasyMesh mode, you can use it as a satellite on your mesh network.
