• A:Answer Hi! No, Deco Mesh Wi-Fi products support Mesh Wi-Fi connectivity and proprietary Deco Mesh technologies only when used with other Deco Mesh products. If you intend to use a Deco Mesh product with a non-Deco router, Access Point Mode operation may be worth considering. Please note; however, that in Access Point Mode, the Deco must be directly connected to your network via Ethernet cable, and some of its features that rely on Router Mode operation will not be available in Access Point Mode.

If you intend to install both Wi-Fi 7 and Wi-Fi 6 Deco Mesh products in the same network, we would recommend ensuring the Wi-Fi 7 model is configured as the main Deco for optimal network performance and features.
