Hi! The primary differences between this model (Deco X60 / AX3000) and the Deco W7200 is that the latter is a Tri-Band Mesh system. Tri-band mesh technology allows for a separate, dedicated 5GHz backhaul band to communicate between the Deco units, instead of sharing the same band with your devices to communicate between nodes. The other key difference is the Deco X60 utilizes the HomeCare network protection and management suite, while the Deco W7200 utilizes the HomeShield suite. For more information about HomeCare and HomeShield, please see our website below: HomeCare: https://www.tp-link.com/us/homecare/ HomeShield: https://www.tp-link.com/us/homeshield/ Lastly - another difference may be how much Wi-Fi coverage the mesh systems offer based on how many Deco units are in the particular kits you are looking at. For example, a Deco W7200 2-Pack variant covers up to 5,500 square feet, while a Deco X60 3-Pack variant covers up to 7,000 square feet. We hope this helps!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Not sure as a direct comparison, we purchased these after having 2 sets of netgear Orbi systems. The netgear would constantly cut out and drop wood at the far end of our house, unacceptable for 600.00 plus price tags. Got these for 250 on sale and do t have any problems. Wi-Fi coverage is great and reaches further than the netgear did. Best of all no interruptions.
