• You’re making a new network. New SSID works best.

• Hi JohnH, During setup, the Deco app will give you the option to create a Wi-Fi name and password for your network. If you would like your existing devices to easily and automatically connect to the new network, we suggest you assign it the same name and password as your current network when prompted during setup.
