Yes this is a router. Mine is hooked via ethernet from my cable modem, and then is set up to meet my networking needs. Simple setup and works great.

Hi! Yes, Deco Mesh Systems are Mesh Wi-Fi routers. They also offer the option to run in Access Point Mode.

It can be used as a router with 2 additional access points. Just connect it to your modem like you normally would and configure it in the Deco App.
