This isn't an extender, it is a full featured consumer grade router. They can work with Spectrum, however they will not mesh with the spectrum provided router. You will set these up as their own network. They can be set as the main router, or setup in access point mode. These routers will make a mesh network when you have multiple, but the way they connect is not the same as the spectrum router so they dont "mesh" there. I do use these with spectrum, it does work on their internet as it is just a router.

Deco is a Mesh Wi-Fi solution that can be used to replace your router, or in conjunction with your router (in Access Point Mode). However, the main Deco unit must be connected to your existing network source via Ethernet cable, and will require use of the Deco app for setup and management.
