Must only use 2.0 WiFi. Will not connect to iPhone either
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Make sure you are using the Kasa app. The app will walk you through the steps. The spot you might be getting confused at is: when you plug in the device for the first time for setup, the device makes it’s own Wi-Fi network that you need to connect your phone to when the app tells you to do that step. Once you do that step the app will walk you through connecting the plugs to your normal network. The other possible problem is your Wi-Fi signal isn’t strong enough where you have the device placed. If that is your problem you will need to get a Wi-Fi repeater for your system.

Our smart plugs, bulbs, and switches are designed for quick and easy setup using the Kasa app. If you're having difficulty connecting them to your network during setup, please ensure your router's 2.4GHz Wi-Fi signal is sufficiently strong at the smart device's location. Please also ensure your smartphone is not connected to a VPN during setup, as this may interfere with the installation process.
