This plug just turns the power on and off.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No this is a simple on and off for a plug in. Will not likely work with a tv and will not be able to change channels
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. On and off only. You'd need either a smart TV or a smart hub like Harmony to change channels using Google.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Most televisions will not turn "on" with a simple smart plug. I believe just having the power available for the television does not activate the "on" button for the television. Yes, you can power it down - just like a computer, but you have to physically turn "on" the television.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Just turn the TV on and off. Changing the channels would require a smart TV that connects directly to Google Assistant. Or another device like a Chromecast or Roku that you could connect to Google Assistant.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. These plugs are simply power on/off devices.
