Yes, the device reconnects automatically back to the Wi-Fi once power is back.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No it does not. You need to reset these devices physically to restore connection to wi-fi. Therefore, if you are out of town, your devices will not work at all. From my experience these devices are flawed.
