• If your freezer is rated at 15 amps or less, You can use this device to turn your freezer on and off but it will not alert you if the power is out.

• If your freezer's power draw is within the smart plug's load specifications you can control whether the freezer receives power or not. A warning or notification will not occur if power is lost to the smart plug; if the smart plug loses power, it will not function, and will be unable to connect to the network or communicate with the Kasa app.
