Not recommended for outside use, not weather proof. I used one indoors with an extension cord going to the outside to power outside lights.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This is not rated as an indoor/outdoor plug. You may be able to use it outside in a protected area but out in the open I would not recommend it. Hope this helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It's not meant for outdoor use, they have an outdoor two plug that is awesome and each plug can have their own schedules independent of the other
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Well, not really. The plug is not rated as an outdoor device and any moisture will damage the plug and likely cause an electrical hazard. Putting the plug into a water tight container may also not work because the plug needs to link to the house's WiFi, the container or distance from the WiFi or both may cause the WiFi connection to fail or be intermittent. I would not recommend using this plug outside for these safety and functionality reasons. This is one time thinking outside the box is not a good idea.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It's not designed for outdoors as it's not weatherproof. Kasa makes the KP400 which is an outdoor version...
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have mine outside and have not had a problem, you may want to make sure your WIFI signal is strong where you want to put it at
