Smart plugs only control the flow of power to the connected appliance; whether or not it is receiving power from the outlet - similar to plugging in or unplugging the device from the power source. If your AC unit does not automatically turn on when plugged into a power outlet, it will not automatically turn on when the smart plug is toggled to the ON state. This is likely due to the design of the AC unit. Please ensure your AC unit does not exceed the safe electrical load limits of the smart plug.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Newer ACs will have problems with smart plugs, which is why most Coke with WiFi connection abilities . If you have one of the ones with a dial , it will work fine as you can leave the dial set to ON and the plug can do it’s job . If you have a newer push button one , you are out of luck . Ran into this issue awhile back
