This isn't a wireless access point. This device is an outlet switch for a lamp or small appliance and connects to your wifi so you can control it from your phone or on a schedule. Yes, you can plug your game console into it and regulate the time that the game console is on in a schedule but it has nothing to do with your house wifi or lack there of.

Sorry, no. The plug is not a wireless router or access point. To function, the plug would need to link to a wireless router or access point to work. Without WiFi in the house, the plug will not work as intended.
