I have one of mine hooked up to a patio heater and have not had any problems.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I use this for a humidifier, As long as the intended product has an on off switch, there shouldnt be an issie. If you have to turn it on and then hit a botton to start whatever the product is, the switch wont work.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have a heater that is both 1800 Watts and 1500 Watts. When I had the heater on the high setting, it overloaded the plug and the plug automatically shut itself off. I now have my heater set on 1500 Watts and it works fine.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The short answer is YES YOU CAN. The reason I know is because I am using a 15A smart plug on a 1200 W heater which in North America, at 120 V, computes to Amperage of 1200/120 = 10A. Sure that's a theoretical calculation, but of course in real life application, there had been no problems. Just do not leave your house with it on. Assuming your Honeywell heater is around 1500 W, you should be ok at it drawing 12.5 A. Those who cannot answer YES or NO to your question may not have tried it themselves. Sigh...
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. As per the specifications on the https://www.kasasmart.com/us/products/smart-plugs/kasa-smart-wifi-plug-mini site the answer is yes. The plug is rated as 15A. As a safety precaution, you should NEVER use a space heater unattended. Therefore turning on a space heater remotely can be very dangerous. I would not recommend this or any other remote controlled plug to be used on a space heating device.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't seewhy not but make sure you check the heater manual along with the power plug manual to see if the plug can handle the maximum power capacity. Heaters pull too much power
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It should, it has a max load of 15 amps https://www.kasasmart.com/us/products/smart-plugs/kasa-smart-wifi-plug-mini
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Check the product web site, they should have specs on how much power you can draw through the plug.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This plug works best when connected to something with straight on/off functions. It can be connected to your heater, if it has a dual for on and off that can be left on and just unplugged. Something that requires a digital or additional power on at the source will just have an extra step added to it.
