• Plug a lamp into it then plug the unit into a wall. You can then turn light on & off with the app on your phone. If you are out of town and want to turn lights on & off. If you want to turn a light on to enter dark house. If you want to turn light on for pets. You can do so on app wherever you are.

• You take the Smart Plug and plug it into an electric outlet. Then you plug an appliance into the Smart Plug. I will use a lamp as an example. Then using Google or Alexa you just say "Turn light on" and "Turn light off" controlling everything by voice commands.
