- Answer I wouldn't. Sudden loss of power to a printer (not running through its power down sequence) might cause the printer some issues.

- Answer It should. The outlet supports up to a 15 amp power draw, and most pellet stoves use less current than that.

- Answer This plug only has one spot to plug in a device. However, you could plug a multi-plug extension cord into it to get more than one lamp working with one plug. Do not exceed 15 amps with this specific switch.

QuestionI have an HS100, the older 15 amp switch. Recently, I plugged in a room air conditioner which has a 15 amp plug. It worked for several weeks, and the lights look like it works, but it no longer switches power. Should this new unit be okay?

- Answer I can't see the label on the old AC, so I looked at the specs on a newer one for reference. A Toshiba 6000 BTU unit is rated at 8 amps max, but has a starting current draw of 29 amps, which apparently burned out the tiny relay in the HS100.

- Answer This device only turns power on and off. Its the same as plugging in the air conditioner and unplugging it. So no, the AC will not become a smart AC.
