Not officially, however, since you can set "Activity zones" and it will record when it detects movement, you could achieve the desired objective pretty easily... when it sees movement, it will record. You would have separate video files, but could splice them together or at least know when you changed positions in any case.

The camera will work in the dark. But, there needs to be some movement to activate it. Hope that helps. I own 2 of these and am very pleased with them.
