“Does this camera HAVE a to be used on a home WiFi/router? I’m taking my dog on vacation with me and am looking for something to substitute our home camera since we can’t bring that to watch him in the hotel room. Could this be connected to hotel WiFi?”

• Yes, it has to be used on a home Wifi/router.

• To connect it you have to enter the network password. I am unsure if you could connect it to a public WiFi without a password. It’s possible that it would work, but it would be insecure.

• Whatever WiFi your phone is hooked to, you should be able to hook the camera to thru the Kasa app.
