It automatically goes to B+W in lowlight conditions. It will go back to color when it detects enough light.

In the event that the camera does not detect enough ambient light, it will automatically enable Night Vision, which is displayed in a grayscale or "black and white" video. The two ways to remedy this would be to ensure the area the camera is directed is well lit, or you can manually disable the night vision feature. Please note that disabling the feature will prevent night vision from activating.
