“I installed this camera last week and inserted a micro SD card for recording. When I pull up the app on my android phone, it shows the recordings but when I try to play them back, it only gives me a few seconds and then goes back to the live view. Fix?”

Sounds like a glitch in the app. Try deleting the app and then reinstalling it. The less likelier reason is that their is something wrong with the micro sd card. In that case try reformatting it with the app. Doing this will make you lose all content.
