By default, no - there are not any fees to install and use the features of the Kasa app. However, there is an optional "Kasa Care" feature that you can subscribe to if you are interested in additional cloud-based video storage options for your Kasa camera. However, if you decide to use the default video storage method (Micro SD card), and do not plan to use the Kasa Care cloud storage option, then no fees will be involved.
