• It reconnects automatically. I unplug my router periodically. When I plug the router back in, the camera reconnects with no intervention from me.

• No you have to unplug the camera to restart it.

• Yes. I've had to disconnect and move the camera and it reconnected once it powered up. It also reconnected another time when I rebooted my router

• The camera reconnects automatically when the assigned wifi is available. If the wifi is not available, it will not connect with the app or automatically. If you have a smart device that keeps dropping off the wifi network, check the signal strength near the device. you may need a booster.
