Absolutely. If your garage door sensor and the bulb are both enabled in Alexa, you can do any number of activities with the two. Amazon is continually improving their smart device routines, and at some point I'm hoping we will have IF-THIS-THEN-THAN (IFTT) functionality. Until then, it will likely be able to do what you want.

When contact sensor is open, turn on TP-link bulb, change color to red, set brightness to 100%. When contact sensor is closed, Turn on TP-LINK bulb, change to white, set brightness to 100%. This will cover you no matter what 'last state' your bulb was in. One caveat, you may want to add a 'wait' then turn off function at the end of the door close routine. Otherwise the light will just stay on until you turn it off (unless that's what you want)
