• Yes, our WiFi extenders are universally compatible with WiFi routers. Please bear in mind the TL-WA850RE is a 2.4GHz N300 WiFi extender. If your router is dual-band and you would prefer dual-band extension, please consider one of our dual-band extender options instead. Regards, TP-Link Support
