Your Internet speed is ultimately determined by the service and quality of signal provided by your Internet carrier. If you are experiencing buffering issues specifically due to WiFi signal, and not Internet signal, then improving the WiFi strength may help; however please note that if the issue is due to Internet signal issues, an extender may not be the solution.
