• This Powerline kit is designed to expand Ethernet (RJ45) connectivity within your home, not phone line (RJ11) connectivity.

• A pair of these devices can be used as Ethernet extensions. If you have a traditional land-line, they won't work. If you have Ethernet-based phone service, they should work just fine.
