“My router is downstairs and my room is upstairs giving me weak signal. will this work if plug this into outlet downstairs connect it to the router and then plug other one upstairs? How do I get wireless connection for my laptop and smart tv?”

This Powerline kit is designed to provide convenient, flexible Ethernet expansion for your home. If you need additional Ethernet connectivity, this will work well.
