What happens when the batteries die? null

Hi Joey, The Tapo DL110 Smart Wi-Fi Door Lock lasts up to 7 months in Wi-Fi mode or 10 months in Bluetooth mode. It offers easy battery replacement and a USB-C port for emergency power, as well as physical backup keys, just in case. 4 AA batteries included for your convenience.

as with all battery operated devices...nothing. but it does tell you the battery life and gives you a warning.

If the batteries die, you can use one of the two included physical keys, or you can connect a charge bank to a USB-C connector built into the bottom of the exterior keypad faceplate to temporarily power the lock.
