QuestionCan you remotely turn the switch on and off whenever you want with the Tapo App without having to manually turn it on and off? Or is it programable only for designated times? I don't want to program on and off times just turn it on and off when desired.

QuestionMy Arlo base station sometimes loses sync with my cameras and I have to manually unplug the power cord of the base station and plug the power back in. Can I turn the power off and on the outlet remotely with the Tapo App? Or do you have to manually?

- Answer Yes and yes. Once configured to your phone you can move anywhere in the house and yes you can give a command to turn everything on or off.

- Answer Yes it would, it’s well within spec. For automatic control, though, make sure you get one with “manual” or mechanical controls so that it comes on automatically.

- Answer The scheduling function is not enabled until you program it. The APP allows on/off function without a schedule.

- Answer Yes, tap 'schedule' in the Tapo app to add turn on/off times. You can even choose certain days to run your schedule or choose 'sunrise' and or 'sunset' as your turn on/off times.
