Hi Michelle, The camera should be installed in a location where your router's 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi signal is sufficiently strong and stable. If you are unsure of your router's current Wi-Fi range, you can try using your phone to test where the signal begins to degrade, then plan the camera's installation based on your findings.
