Hi SCgranny, The Tapo C660 Kit primarily offers event-based recording at full video framerate. However, this model also supports the 24/7 Capture Feature, allowing the camera to take capture frames at select intervals (typically significantly less than full framerate, such as 1 frame per X seconds). This allows the camera to not only rely on its PIR sensor but also make use of its intelligent detection algorithms to determine whether a captured frame contains an event trigger, then wake the camera and record at full video framerate.
