“Can this extender have the same SSID or network name so you don't have to connect to "different" networks as you move about the house ? If so, how is this done?”

• Because this acts as a repeater it can use the same SSID and network name, albeit with something at the end to distinguish it from the "main" network. By default it will put something line _EXT at the end of the network name.

• Yes, absolutely. During setup, you will be presented with the option to copy/clone the existing SSID, or create a separate one, depending on your preferences and/or networking needs.
