• Hi! We recommend installing the extender in a position within your home where the router's Wi-Fi signal is sufficiently strong; yet far enough from the router to effectively extend its range. The layout of your home, walls, construction materials, and other obstructions such as furniture can play a role in which location is optimal. The TP-Link Tether app can help guide you through determining an ideal placement location for the device.
