“My TV will be in the basement and the router is on the floor above. The basement is finished with dry wall and the TV will be hung on the wall furthest from the first floor router. Will the signal be received in the basement thru all the materials? I”

Hi! The RE505X should be able to receive the signal from your router; however, the optimal location for the extender may vary depending on physical distance, obstruction, and layout of your home. Ideally, we recommend placing the extender in a position within your home where the router's Wi-Fi signal is sufficiently strong; yet far enough from the router to effectively extend its range to the desired area (basement TV area).
