Hi! The extender must be installed within the signal range of the host Wi-Fi network (the network you want to extend). While yes, you can use it in various places, those places must provide Wi-Fi connectivity at the extender's installation location, and for each new network, the extender must be reconfigured.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would not recommend it for that purpose, perhaps its best to link it with your hot spot of your phone. Most hotels use a pre-sign in with your room information and this extender does not have that
