• the 3 GB data only adds more data to the phone plan you have. You need to still have phone service time for this to continue using and it will carry over when you buy more time. .

• Yes this card is a data add-on good for 30 days of the activation. I was able to purchase it online and got the virtual card with pen and put it right on my TracFone blue view 5 and the data was immediately available for use from the activation time.
