If you pay the $20 again to keep getting the unlimited talk/text the portion of data( internet if left) rolls over from previous month. I.E. if you wanted to shop you could save up & use for something online that takes longer with stored amount. The salespeople should tell how many minutes 2gigas are. You need some to receive an email message the text/messages are not data.
