• Not a separate cost. You just buy an airtime service card of your choice by your service end date. This keeps your service active. They have a card for 30 minutes for $9.99 but you only get 30 days. Tracfone has many plans for any needs. Hope this helps.

• The $19.99 covers a set amount of usage over 90 days. Each category is equal so 1/3 of purchased time. If you run out before 90 days you will need a new card. 90 days is service active period regardless of minutes, texts, data left.
