QuestionI want a basic phone, not text, no video, just a phone to carry in my purse for emergencies. I had a TracFone years ago and liked it because I could choose the card withTIME (I want 365 days). Does Best Buy, Coeur d'Alene, carry this? Hidden fees?

- Answer I'm not sure about Couer d'Alene but I bought this card/ time for my mom and there are no hidden fees. You do have to buy a phone that works with the TracFone system then you buy the time and add it to your account. That's it! I bought the 1 year unlimited and we do not have to worry about a monthly bill or doing anything with the service/account for the year. It's wonderful!

- Answer Yes purchased our phone from Best Buy and also the 1 year phone card from BB. Then 1 year later just had to add another 1 year phone card. Have doing this for years.

- Answer I don't see why not - - - - For example: I bought an Unlocked LG G6 from BestBuy and then bought the Tracfone SIM card kit for $1.00 and picked my carrier of choice: Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile - - - - went online with Tracfone and activated the cellphone with the new SIM card I bought and it's working great. - - - - - - Although I just bought a newer Tracfone branded phone and switched over and then after a certain period of time I will be able to have this Tracfone branded cellphone unlocked by Tracfone.
