- Answer Hi. This is April from TracfFone Wireless. Unfortunately, TracFone cannot be used outside of the United States, Puerto Rico, Hawaii, Alaska and the U.S. Virgin Islands. The reason is there is still no services provided outside these areas and unauthorized use of TracFone may result in immediate discontinuance of service. Thank you.

QuestionI am trying to by the TracFone Basic Phone Card on line. Your site won't let me pay with gift Cards. I understand Gift Cards cannot be used to buy Gift Cards, Tracfone card is not a gift card. Please explain why I cannot use a gift card to pay.

- Answer I know it is very annoying to me also. I can not also use my rewards to purchase cards because treat as a gift card instead of airtime card.

The usage numbers represent what your data minutes can accomplish for only one data activity. Calculations are based on: 1024kb = 1MB. 1024 MB = 1GB; Average web page 1,249kb; Average email 75K; Photos at 6MP = 1.6MB; Average Facebook session 15 min = 5MB; Google Maps 10min = 6MB. - Answer TracFone has a function in the phone to allow you to check your phones minutes, texts, and data balances. Also, you can go to the TracFone website and enter your phone number to get your current balances. We have been using tracfones 2004 and have always found them to be a good fit for us. They have evolved significantly and the service now is really quite good.
