NEW PHONE I WANT TO BUY A SIMPLER PHONE, I NOW HAVE AN LG306G,I WANT A PHONE JUST FOR EMERGENCY WHILE OUT DRIVING. I BOUGHT MINE FROM QVC LAST OCTOBER. MY MINUTES ARE TRIPLE WHEN I BUY MORE. I DO NOT LIKE THIS PHONE FOR ME. TO HARD TO ANSWER, BATTERY LIFE IS ONLY 2-3 DAYS.I DO NOT NEED E-MAIL,TEXTING CALENDAR ETC.
CAN I BUY A FLIP PHONE (SIMPLE ONE) AND STILL ROLL OVER MY EXTRA MINUTES TO THE NEW ONE? ALSO WITH A NEW PHONE WILL I STILL TRIPLE MINUTES OR WILL BE DOUBLE?

I have Tracfone and so does my brother. He needed something easier than his LG Android. I bought him the Alcatel A206 which is a simple flip phone. Problem is Tracfone said they will not transfer minutes or service days when stepping down from the Android. The flip phone has a "double" minutes feature where the Android had "triple" minutes deal.

Strangely though, when they transferred his time and minutes, he ended up with more minutes and service than I expected. Not all of his time/minutes transferred but it seems like some did. But they'll tell you you will lose it all.
