You are correct. They do not work for cellular data at all. You can connect on wifi but that's 100% it. Garbage through and through.

Been using mine for two days so far and it's been great. Most likely Tracfone will send you a new phone if you call their customer service, or access their tech support from a PC.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.tracfone isn't much help. i got better service from at&t. If you're lucky to get a tracfone to work, then accept the phone number you're assigned, and simply copy all your favs #'s from your old phone.
