• Yes, you can add a 1 year card and not pay the monthly fee with this phone. I buy a 1 year card every year. Along with the phone minutes you receive, you also get data and text. You can also buy at anytime for $10, additional data. The SE phone works great with a tracphone account.

• We bought this for my son and are using it as a trac phone. You just have to make sure it has a Sim card. We are not paying for a monthly phone service. I just add trac phone minutes as needed. You can look at their website and see what they offer.

• The phone I have is a TracFone and I get my service through TracFone. I buy the plan that is for a year so I don’t pay a monthly fee.

• Yes you can. If you upgraded to this phone from one that has triple min your min will triple. I upgraded from a flipphone with double min and it tripled for me.
