• If you are replacing a current phone, no. If this is your 1st phone, probably. Also get 32 gig storage card to take photos.

• No it is a trac phone and you pay monthly and can cancel at any time. Just follow the directions and call the number listed and it will be set up for you as an automatic withdrawal from your checking account.
