“I have an ATT unlock code for a new ZTE Zmax2 from BB. I read the instructions from ATT (and others). I put in the TracF sim, turned on the power...and..... nothingasks about the unlock code. also don't understand how (I) would use a keypad in "idlemode".”

if the phone is locked by att then you'll have to contact them to release it...i had same issue with sprint. i think the codes only work for phones that are currently activated on that service...<< i could be wrong but thats the way i understand it. so a simple call to att should unlock the phone and allow the tracfone activation kit to work. hope that helps.
