“I have contacted TracFone/safelink twice through chat and am being told only TracFone phones work for the new byop deal. I have a phone but was told it doesn't matter.since this was just yesterday I am confused want to get sim for safelink upgrade”

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I bought an unlocked BLU M and Best Buy helped me transfer it over from the little Alcatel that safelink sent me. It helped a lot and I was teld by Safelink that all I needed was an unlocked phone and tracfone told me the same thing and it works fine and am very happy with it.

Please try again later.As long as the phone you're trying to activate is an unlocked smartphone (of course it should have a SIM card slot), there should be no problem activating it using this SIM kit because the kit contains both kinds of SIM cards for whichever network you choose (HSPA/GSM or CDMA).
